With 300 peak horsepower and 365 lb.-ft. of torque, the 5.4L generates all the power you may ever need for the job you're doing. Among its many features is the only multi-valve (3 valves per cylinder) induction system in its class.
V10 territory
The 6.8L Triton is the ultimate in a gas-powered pickup. When you move up from the standard 5.4L Triton V8, you're in a whole different dimension of performance. You're now in V10 territory with the optional 6.8L Triton, the most powerful gas-powered engine in a full-size pickup. Like the 5.4L, it features a free-breathing multi-valve (3 valves per cylinder) induction system.
