All new Ford vehicles now come with a hard working warranty. All new 2007 Ford vehicles now come with new, longer 5-year/60,000 mile powertrain limited warranty. It's all part of our effort to bring you more satisfaction and peace of mind no matter which new Ford you decide to purchase. This warranty offers coverage for the engine, transmission and more. There are no deductibles for repairs, and it's fully transferable to future owners at no cost. You will also receive complimentary roadside assistance for the entire warranty period, including towing, fuel-fill and lock-out services.

More Power
Electric power kicks in on demand for added power. The electric motor alone is capable of moving Escape Hybrid smoothly and efficiently up to 25 mph. However, when called upon, it combines with the gasoline engine to provide added boost when accelerating off the line and when passing. It helps give the Escape Hybrid V6-like acceleration and a sporty 155 horsepower (for net hybrid system combined output of both gas engine and electric motor)
Storage Battery
The Hybrid battery packs long lasting power and recharges automatically. The nickel-metal-hydride (NiMH) battery is completely sealed and securely encased. It's stored neatly at the flat load floor of the spacious cargo area. The regenerative braking system recharges the NiMH battery each time you brake, so you never have to plug it in.
